Yet I seem to recall reading that you have lost weight since returning.

I had a quick look on mcdonalds.com.au and came up with this...

small fries, AU: 72g
small fries, USA: 72g (identical)

large fries, AU: 128g
large fries, USA: 153g (+19%)

large coke, AU: 589mL
large coke, USA: 946mL (+60%)

Not sure whether regular is small or medium, but both AU sizes are smaller than 16 oz.

This is pure serving size of course, doesn't take into account nutritional variation.

Its not cheaper, Sly posted his 20$/week diet plan which was pretty good. So 3$/day - you can not eat days worth of food in mcd for 3 bucks.
Fast food is not cheaper, its just that people are lazy to cook.

By the way nobody mentioned all crappy stuff (sometimes without regulations or requirement to mention it on the label) that is put in food by monsanto and similar corporations.

Not sure if serious question. Its harder to stay in shape when you are older compared to when you are younger.

You well know it does not work like that. Not many people have the discipline. If they get bigger portion of chips they will eat more, because they already have that in hands.

Same here. If there is free refill people will refill even if they are not thirsty anymore. Its free so why not take it.

Yup, I don't exercise and I'll eat McDonalds or whatever else I'm in the mood for but don't gain weight because I'm constantly active during the day. I don't like to spend my time worrying about what I should or shouldn't eat when I can just enjoy my life and stay at a healthy weight just by doing my usual daily routine.

Honestly, I don't even know where you would buy it here. None of the bottle shops stock them that I can think of.

oppoten 11-20-2012 12:43 AM

Complacency.

War is always somewhere else. There's nothing to be lean for, apart from lifestyle choice.

About 32 million more Americans will become obese by 2030, upping obesity rates to 42 percent of the U.S. population, according to a new report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

I am an American. I believe in general we live a life of excess and convenience. Add to that technology and a newer generation of laziness (not all young people are lazy). It?s no wonder there is more and more obesity.
