ok so I'm busy filming more than ever now and dont have the time to devote to manual tasks like posting trailers all over tubes etc just curious how much in PI are these types of gigs going for? not looking for someone to blog for me, just to take my existing promo tools and blast em out there everywhere semi regularly

In my experience, 90% of the time, Filipinos are more trouble than any savings you could possibly get. You have to go through a lot of them to find a good one. And then you have to train them. And then you have to wonder whether or not they are actually doing the work the way you train them. And then you have to wonder how many times their maternal grandmother is going to die within the next six months. My guess is five.

You might try local, of age students etc. they can be easily trained and you do not need to make the time commitments to someone offshore. Just an idea. You can even reword things as apprenticeship opportunities and pay him bonuses only.

Cost = whatever you pay them + time to redo all their work + income lost during that period.

Same with Indians.

Just find some college kids on craigslist, they do a lot better work and quite often charge very little. Not to mention some will probably do it for free too, just for the perk of working with porn.

Good advice i have found the same
indian/paki/filipino are way too much trouble they very rarely complete the work on time if at all.

I have an incredible full-time Filipino virtual assistant for my mainstream sites that I hired through http://www.virtualstafffinder.com/. You're going to have to pay them $400 to find you good candidates that you give the final interviews to and pick from, but it's well worth it as the candidates they give you actually have experience in what you ask for, be it content creation, design, etc. The only problem with this company is I don't know if they place for adult, so you would have to ask them.

But if you are just looking for really simple grunt work like tube uploads you should have no problem finding that from sites like Freelancer, Odesk (which I think doesn't allow adult jobs but you can work around that), Digital Point, etc.

Those places are full of Indians, Pakis and Filipinos too. If you can, try getting someone from Eastern Europe instead. They charge about the same, but they actually do good work and, surprisingly, they actually understand English quite well.

I pay the girl I have $400 a month. She started out at $350 a month, as I was just having her do basic but tedious work like managing all my niche blogs, basic link building, sorting and posting content, etc. When I found out she was also a decent writer I gave her $50 a month more, and I will be giving her another raise shortly as she has picked up really quickly on software like The Best Spinner and Long Tail Pro. Very few people have outsourcing success stories. You usually get what you pay for. All the best ones already have jobs. What you will probably end up with is a total fuck up who has been let go from lots of other companies.

usually the internet is slow over there. My first thought is that tube video posting or transferring large files is going to end up not being cost effective. They are all very slow best I hope for is performing quality work at half normal person speed or productivity.

This is so true! I've had this happen. There are lots of "in the hospital" and "car accidents" I guess over there.

Good call Damagex. It's better to pay a lil more and have the satisfaction of knowing it will get done without baby sitting imo.

It does actually happen though. Ive had one guy show me the stream. It was live with him @ the funeral home next to his grandma's casket.

Along with storms, floods and internet outages. Its tough to find anything solid. Best thing is a "no deadline" type project and pay by the job.

Prices vary from 3.00 per hour and up.

Anyone who outsourced knows this is true. It looks like any "yes sir" idiot in east asia is going online to work for webmasters. When you hire from eastern europe you at least get mostly those that know what they are doing. Plus you can communicate with them well, rather than "yes sir" indians..
I manage outsourced workers and I could source you decent one for about 700$/month.

never hire them for full time because they are working a few gigs anyway. Figure that if it takes you one hour it will take them 2 hours and pay them per project at a rate of $2-$3 dollars hour. But never hourly. always on project basis.
