Hey Zara, there are numerous threads about that on here if you use the search function. Long story short, it can be done but most people don't recommend it.

As a newbie, I would recommend to hook up with a webmaster with experience. lol Or try wordpress out. I don't really have an issue with it as much as I've read other people do. I am actually going to try my own go with it soon. It just doesn't really work out of the box that way, so you will run into issues unless you have some idea what you are doing.

Wendy4.com is run off wordpress. Very nice site!

if you worked with someone you would not have a pay a penny, just pay someone a small fee to advise you and help out, That way you get all the money for your hard work.

Either of those options is better than working with some of the folks who will volunteer to help you for free on the odd chance that they'll get some pussy out of it.

Setting a site up is the easy bit.

Waking up each day to find your whole members area stolen and available for download on file locker sites. torrents and so forth is the hard bit.

I just built one for a customer who wanted a wordpress back end also, we ended up using http://www.adultsitecms.com/home - which is a plugin for wordpress. You just need a designer to edit the css/templates to suit your own design. Very easy to manage once it's up and running.
