HEY CCBILL - GET IN HERE TO CLEAR UP THIS SHIT!

Third person information, blaming the Post Office, excusing holidays for delays, etc.

HEY CCBILL - LET'S HEAR WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY DIRECTLY!

This is at least the 3rd post on this topic - and this is the 3rd page of this post.

What the fuck?!

ccbill is a fucking joke... 9+ months of ccbill threads prove they are in a downward spiral ... they take 20%+ of all transactions yet still cant hire competent programmers, support staff or mail room employees

MalloyEPC 10-10-2012 01:14 PM

No check for me today :*( I'm hoping for tomorrow.

Someone said they emailed CCBill accounting and was told it was because the post office is closing so many branches.

Only problem with that story is the post office is a hub and spoke system and mail flows through the big processing centers (most are staying open or consolidating, like Fort Lauderdale folding into Miami but just about same number of people, just less real estate). It's not like mail moves from small post office to small post office like the old days.

Having been in the direct mail industry I've been in the Baltimore bulk mail unit and most of the sorting is done by OCR that can read the shittiest handwriting. It goes through the machine and then spits out to trays that eventually make it to the closest processing center and then it goes to the small post office that may now be closed. At most with all of the shut down centers you are looking at a day delay.

Not true

Less then 10 of the same posters create and/or bump CCBill hate threads every few days. You post multiple times in every thread.

The same fucking people every fucking day. You're not fooling anyone. You're very obvious.

You don't like CCBill. We get it.

Move on or admit you're getting paid to continue the bullshit.

I agree with you, I deal with USPS closely everyday and I send and receive a ton of packages daily...and you know I'm right next to Dulles Airport and a large USPS sorting center so I always get my mail very quickly.

98% of the time when I get a late package/mail, it's because the sender did not get it into the postal system on time or fucked something up.

I'm almost never in these threads. I normally like CCBill, but when you are waiting on checks, an official explanation is in order.

If last weeks checks went out 1, 2, or even 3 days late, they would have arrived by now.

The checks have not arrived, so what happened?

It's an easy question, but for some reason CCBill has opted not to answer it.

That's just bullshit... and I LIKE CCbill!

..repent, the end is near..:Oh crap

:upsidedow:upsidedow:upsidedow

Best solution that I see, so far: change to: Fed Ex.

Agreed. But I have to admit in the past on the rare times when I received a late check from CCBill the post mark has always been as it should have been + or - a day or two. I'll definitely be checking the postmark when I receive this past due check.

I'm still giving CCBill the benefit of the doubt but sometimes when businesses start delaying payments it means they are having financial problems. It's too early to say this is the case for CCBill because historically when this happens they get right back on track the next week and it stays that way for months. But we will see...

18teens 10-10-2012 02:40 PM

Check received today in Detroit MI. It was postmarked correctly on 9-1 so this is definitely a postal issue.

That's really odd then. I imagine CCBill sends out A LOT of checks. Trays and trays worth. Who knows if they go directly to a bulk mail acceptance unit or just dropped off at the closest office, but it sounds like some trays sat around somewhere way longer than they should have.

Freedom6995 10-10-2012 05:40 PM

Last week mine came on Monday, this week on Wed.
Canada
Used to work for Canada Post...you would not believe what can, and will, happen to the mail.

You're not one of the regular bashers I was referring to. Regarding waiting on checks I totally agree and CCBill has always been reliable over the 13 years I've been in the business. (and yes I joined GFY 4 years after entering the industry) :D

Did you contact CCBill directly like I did?

I asked via Live Chat using Google Chrome and they answered.

Other people have posted the explanation they were given by CCBill.

I'm thinking the days of boards being a place to answer customer issues might be a thing of the past for any current biller. In that area of the industry there is to much hostility and competition right now that threads regarding that topic are quickly polarized and turned negative almost instantly, no matter who the biller is.

TheSenator 10-11-2012 01:44 AM

haha I didn't even catch that, that is why ccbill is not in here. They know they sent the checks out ontime, then the once a year thread can blame them the sky is falling and when they show up oh snap
