160k+ hits of TGP traffic sent to webcams over several years - 29 signups, earned $49.31!

I've had basic tracking active on my webcam affiliate account for years, but I only just added in specific grouping so I could see all-time sales for traffic coming from a specific site/campaign.

I expected TGP traffic conversions to be shitty, but not this shitty.


1. 100% blind traffic from teen TGP - a trickle from June 2006 (nearly 6 years), 21977 hits, 7 signups, $12.65 payout. $0.57/k, $1.81 per signup

2. General TGP traffic redirected to dedicated webcam landing page - from January 2011 (21 months), 141620 clickthroughs from the page, 22 signups, $36.66 payout. $0.25/k or 0.025c/click, $1.67 per signup. Funny thing is this traffic was pre-filtered, so only english language browsers with cookies and referers enabled saw the landing page. Without this the conversions would have been even worse.


I should add that I do MUCH better with non TGP traffic... I still have some members from the early 2000's generating income.

So yeah, if you have a half-assed tracking setup, maybe you should look more closely at how your traffic is performing. This traffic would have only been worth a few hundred max if sold via a broker, but it's still a few hundred effectively lost.

Blind links should not be sent to sponsors. They are only good for sending back into the circle jerk pool. I stopped using blind links and a skim years ago. Its great traffic to build deceptive trades around and pad your stats, but its effectively useless.

As mentioned I've done better with other sources of traffic. One guy spent $1000 on his first day, which on revshare, is pretty nice.

Not 100% sure but I think the signups listed in the stats on this program are free signups. I presume AWE only pays $222 for a "paid" signup.

There's also the small issue of AWE's long term contempt for affiliates. I wouldn't send them a single click.

Pretty sure they only paid $222 (if at all) on a $29.99 signup; and not their alternative, and far more attractive for the signer-upper, $19.99 price.

Blind converts bad if sent to paid sites; cams need specific traffic, not generic mix; paid cams do not appeal especially - free cams may appeal a little more... free cams who pay per free signups may be an advise. If you can re-sell to brokers you may do still more money.

In a mainstream site of mine I forgot a link there from 1998 , was to some software toll they paid $20 a sale, they was purchasedby other company in 1999 but did not noticed, and affiliate links no more working, and I sent them traffic for more than 10 years before I figured out
Other thing I did not checked, I had a link exchange with another site in home page, such site being bigger than mine so me very happy; but they removed it and I figured only like 8 years later, as I was lazy to check referral stats and/or forgot the hardlink.

It was more like that particular source of traffic was lumped in with everything else for 6 years, so it didn't stand out. I was making plenty of money overall, and was growing those sources which worked well; just wasn't properly looking into those which didn't.

Just do a Reverse engineering to CamBoss, 2intense or any of the CAM NICKS here and you will find the TRUTH to convert CAMS.

Those guys "CLAIM" to do 15K per month with CAM SALES alone...

So, doing some Reverse engineering on their business, methods and "tricks" they use, will get you some insight to convert cams.

If you just send regular traffic, you won't convert shit with CAMS... Even if that traffic converts at 1:100 with Paysites.

I've just disabled the latter campaign; as well as the zero rev it also has a far worse CTR.

Check your stats in detail, people. Remove campaigns that don't work, grow ones which do.
