Just seen Total Recall, what was the point of that. Total fucking waste of time and story bastardised and not even as good as the first. Action and CGI top notch, just should have had it on a new story line and it would have been quite good. The only decent thing was the Chiappa rhino. NOW that I would like to have.

The point is that Hollywood is now filled with largely filled with talent-less hacks that can't produce a great movie if their lives depended on it. I couldn't get past the fact that it was a remake with a totally different story line. Not a bad movie, but certainly a flawed idea.

Actually this isn't the case.. There are a ton of talented people out there all you have to do is look to indie films. The problem with Hollywood is a double edged sword.

In a sense they have put thier selves between a rock & a hard pl;ace as major productions cost insane amounts of money and it's a massive risk to spend that kind of money and have is be a dog.

This means they just keep rehashing out the remakes & squeals to existing proven franchise's. There is a lot less risk involved in that and solid profits because everyone goes gaga goo over spider man or the next super hero.. or squeal number X for this series or that.

I understand that issue and that people are producing amazing stuff with tiny budgets right now as technology improves.

Big studios and their remakes of remakes and endless run of retarded comic book stories along with sequels that should never be made is not a problem with budgets and costs.

Haha... i typed that, opened another site and up pops an ad for Judge Dredd 3d. Don't know if i am even emotionally fit to handle that much great dialogue after Expendables 2. But yeah, no creative issues in Hollywood. No hacky ideas. No retarded sequels.

You're never going to top Arnold so I don't know why they would even try. I think they were just trying to make a decent enjoyable movie loaded with action. I went in expecting only that and it pretty much was what I got
