You may be an OK photographer but you have ZERO internet savvy, no clue about websites or traffic. If you want to bring up the model that died in the car you were in when her drug crazed BF drove it into a house we can go there. I am sick of hearing your bleating, you can fuck off or deal with me.

Now I did say I wouldn't react to trolls... I guess that will teach me not to get up early...

You start your post by making 9 year old insults calling me FAT, wow your a genuis, yes I am FAT, retarded hmmmm not so much, dickhead yes I have been from time to time... Your talking about internet savvy, well yes again correct hence why we've seeked Partners with the knowledge... I have never made out to be a genuis on the subject...

Not really sure how much of a Jedi you are with your escorting site... but sure you do very well out of it, well enough to post in this condesending way.

However where did you cross the line ? Not by calling me names, I had that for 45 years, but by bringing Natalie into this conversation. How fucking very dare you bring her name into this, you must be a real piece of work ! For those people that dont know Natalie was a teen model who worked for a mate of myn, but was originally shot by me...

She tragically died when she got a lift (not even her boyfriend) from a guy she knew, late at night coming out from a nightclub... on the way the car crashed and she was killed. Wow man to bring that up ? Why would I have used that, man you really are low (your mum must be soo proud) So sorry people, I didn't want to turn this into a troll fest, but this guy crossed the line...

 :Oh crap :disgust

Yeah I was taken a little out of context, but that's fine... I am in no way blaming the adult industry at all, and totally admit it's my fuck up and no one else's... A lot of good people warned me what would happen, and there advice was spot on, I was just too dumb to listen... :Oh crap

It just however amazes me at times with certain situations where people start talking morality, when in fact we're in the adult industry and I see far worst examples of a lack of morality... and as I said in most industries especially within bigger companies morals and ethics are a poor second runner to profit...

The next content shooter who tells me they are doing great by partnering up with an affiliate program will be the FIRST content shooter who actually is. They never work out. The ones I do know of that are moderately successful, they are partnerships with small affiliate programs where the owner of the program does a lot of the work themselves.

Steve, you're the Ralph Kramden of porn. You want to run before you walk and have been that way for the years i've been aware of you - instead of launching these multi site programs you should be trying to produce and run one site, putting all the work into one site. One quality site, whether it's a solo girl site or multi model or fetish site.

Hey Mutt we've never met in person, but I really do hope one day that we do. Would love to buy you a beer or two (if you drink) you were one of the people who called it spot on back when I first announced all of this, you gave solid sound advice, which unfortenetly I didn't listen to... sorry

I agree I got caught up in the big lights, of big names... someone used a baseball reference, well yes when Traffic Gigolos come calling it was like being asked to play with the Red Sox... when Media Revenue came calling it was like getting to go to the Yankees and play with Jetter and A Rod ! Yes I thought I would hit 80 homers for the season !!! Little did I know I was going to play in the minors ! Damn I love baseball...

I so didn't know what "very self deprecating" meant, had to go and wiki it... that's weird really as most people accuse me of the opposite, have accused me of being arragant most of the time... which I have to say I dont believe I am. But thanks :)

As for the Ralph Kramden commment again it went way over my head, I dont know the back story behind him, so I will have to take your word for it lol. But dont we all dream ? It's been 11 hard years in this industry, but I wouldn't want to stop, I do indeed love my job and kinda just make a living out of it :thumbsup

Anyways if we ever meet at a show be sure to remind me about those drinks, what ever flavour you take (well as long as it's not too expensive a one) :winkwink:

If you get bored with the porn thing then you might want to don a few robes and hit the Guru circuit.

Hopefully the real lesson is learned; those fast money big promises hollow words usually cost a business more in the long run - and integrity is priceless in any business.

Next time, Bittiebucks Steve, spend more time on due diligence and less on counting the coins you expect to earn. :2 cents:

What do you mean by this? That your sites weren't batting well so they sent you down to the minors with much smaller attendance, as in traffic?

(not saying that is the case, just saying that is what the analogy implies the way I read it)

It was about affiliate links on 6bot to the same company you were busting Steve's ass over because he did business with them. Just found it very ironic, especially since you say they added unauthorized charges to your card. Even leaving them for the sake of Google is a bit odd considering your stance on this matter.

Personally, I don't care who anyone does business with, I was just pointing out a little irony. Nothing more. Carry on.

BittieBucks Eric 07-27-2012 08:12 AM

Hi all,

we're currently switching over to the new system. This also involves some DNS work so it will take some time to propagate.

Our new system will be NATS on top of CCBill. This means there is no PPS(the sponsor site still reflects the PPS option but it's not available), only Revshare. You will however, get the advantage of NATS and it's reporting system, combined with regular payments and no screw-overs. You will get paid by CCBill directly.

What does this mean for current affiliates?

Basically, you will need to associate a CCBill Affiliate ID to your account.
Current affiliates will need to login to the system and go to My Account > Account Details and then change their Payment Details.

Once that is done, go to Ad Tools > Link Codes. Go down a little bit and you will see it will prompt you for a CCBill Affiliate ID(you can also signup for one on that page)
.

I have checked with TMM and unfortunately CURRENT affiliates will have to generate new linking codes to make sure the CCBill Affiliate ID is associated with the linking codes and place them on their website.

There will be bits and bobs popping up which we will fix as soon as they rear their head.

If you have any questions, needs help or find something not working properly, please contact us/me so we can get things rolling as quickly as possible.

Eric

Yeah got to say I was under the impression it was doable without affiliates changing the links... that really does suck balls :(

Have we double checked this Eric, maybe with John Albright and Vlad ??? Just to be sure... I thought they had said the new system would allow this :(

Another Media Revenue success story.

iSpyCams 07-27-2012 03:01 PM

Hope it doesn't take you too long to get your billing back up. Thats the kind of thing that always seems to drag out.

I have made similar bad decisions, not with MR and not with an affiliate program, but I did make a deal with the devil and get into a partnership to get some cash flow once. Although I think when you are drowning (financially) and grasp at the only straw available it doesn't seem like much of a decision.

In my case things went south in a huge way for me of course, no surprise, but the time that I bought made a huge difference towards getting me on my feet again and finding the opportunity I needed to build back up from scratch.

I know you have been given the platform that provides this solution. Not going to add it again because I genuinly want you to find the right solution and am not a cheerleader for that company. I would have had this thing going in a couple of hours after a split. Throw up ccbill links, process, track the affiliates through the system I told you about and nobody would skip a beat.

babeterminal 10-16-2012 02:37 PM

so what is the situation with your program are the ccbill links still valid

We have bought into Steve's programs and are currently moving all the sites to our servers and billing companies. Everything should be ready to go by the end of the month, once it's done we'll make an "official" announcement.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused by past issues with the failed partnerships, unfortunately a lot of people took hits from it, Steve included. I assure you Bittie Bucks and Girlie Cash are now in good hands and we have some big plans for the programs.

To anyone who has lost traffic or revenue due to the downtime of the sites and programs please hit me up so I can increase your future payouts and do whatever I can to make things right.

You mean you aren't going to tell them to get over it and move on?

Exactly one year ago from today. https://gfy.com/showpost.php?p=18497266&postcount=496

babeterminal 10-18-2012 05:12 AM

Hah, you've got a better memory for things that I've said than my wife:Oh crap

That comment was made in the Melissa Money thread, and a response to Porno Jew stating "they can't pull links because the people complaining aren't even affiliates or are owed money. they have some kind of psychological issue."

It burns my ass when programs close or get sold and affiliates don't get paid, but pages and pages of bitching and flaming from people who never promoted the site is ridiculous. If someone was actually owed cash then they have every right to go off, but 100 fake nic's posting "links pulled" is just a waste of space and time.

With that said I put my money where my mouth is, when we bought Radical Cash I made sure all past due affiliate accounts were paid and up to date.

I'm also making things right with Bittie Bucks affiliates who got hurt with the break up of their partnership with Media rev. Freeones was pretty much the only one owed money and I worked it out with Roald in Europe.

So bust my balls, with a comment taken out of context from a different thread. 13 years in the industry and I've never missed or been late on a payment or burned anyone.

Good try though:thumbsup
