So I am thinking about moving out of the US but not sure where I want to go. I am looking for a place that allows you to make your money last. I mean I do pretty well working online so it doesn't really matter the location as long as they have high speed lol.

So where would you move to and why?

I prefer a place that don't have outrageous taxes
Fairly warm
No crazy laws about buying property
Not in the middle of a war zone
Has either nice beaches or close to the ocean

Costa Rica is OK but they are really being bitches lately with perpetual tourists and it's not as cheap as everyone thinks.

Yea Costa Rica seems to be an area that many people are flocking to. Not sure if I want to move there and be swamped with tourist year round. May be an option though.

BTW... if you make your living online and earn mostly in USD, you are going to be in a world of hurt if/when the USD finally crashes, or when the USA finally defaults on its debt. The can is only going to be kicked down the road for so long and using debt to get out of debt isn't going to work forever.

Wherever you go, start putting something together to earn in the local currency as well so you're not left holding your dick when the inevitable happens.

Yea I don't want to be in the middle of no where. I enjoy shows, gambling (texas holdem so casinos would be nice but not a must have), beaches, shopping.
