The simple thing to do then is just to ban all file lockers. Our own database of them changes daily. It's unlikely that people sharing content on a porn forum using a file locker will have the right to do so unless they are the producers or licensees of the content.

to be honest, I cannot see any reason why you wouldn't want to share it unless you didn't want to give it out to potential pirates - or I could just be daft and I'm missing something really obvious. I do not think anyone here wants to publish a "How To" or "Where To" for content thieves.

File serve is a dead host.

Some File Hosts are preferred or even required for Adult Content Thieves on many of the larger Adult Oriented File Sharing Forums.

This is why most groups fighting online piracy do not publicly publish these types of lists.

You can not spell "Conspiracy" without "Piracy"!

It's been a big year for Copy Control and the Stop File Lockers project. At one stage it looked like we would have to close and now we are back stronger than ever.

With hundreds of payment processing arrangements disrupted on hundreds of sites, almost 400 sites shut down entirely, larger file lockers being pushed to the margins and having to make changes to their business models or face being pushed further out and payment processing made much more difficult, we're really happy with the results this year.

Next year will be much bigger. We have some announcements to be made in early January which will allow rights holders a much greater level of representation and far greater success in limiting copyright infringement of their work.

I'd like to thank every one of you who have contributed time and money to this project. Without your support we would not be here today.
