It probably has one of the badass (and a highly controversial) endings I have ever seen. I don't think it's on Blueray yet but I'd like to get it for my collection. The movie is about a teenager named Bill who comes from an affluent family. He is worried that he seems different from his sister and parents. They mix with other 'upper class' people while Bill is more down to earth. As he reaches his eighteenth birthday, he notices his parents and sister are acting strangely. Like most horror movies from the Eighties, it's a slow burn. But it all resolves itself in a satisfying Twilight Zone-like manner in the end. The ending was all done by prosthetics, special make-up and lots of syrup.

It's a pity Yuzna's retired nowadays and his latest work (like Dario Argento) pales in comparison to what he did during the Eighties. Damn, I miss these movies.
