TES put me in a nice bed and breakfast inn, not on the overflow list, and way off the beaten path (cab drivers were getting lost:1orglaugh) but it was still under $10 USD to get up to the show hotel. Since the evening events are held offsite, sometimes it was cheaper for me to get back to my hotel than it was for the folks up at the show hotel. So don't feel like you're getting anything less by being in an overflow hotel. I was very happy with my lodgings, it was more intimate, and quaint compared to the big show hotel, so I got the best of both worlds, fun and excitement at the show, peace and quiet in my inn. This show is worth coming to, no matter where you stay! :2 cents: |

for ?7-9 you get a main dish that will last you a day :) of course Prague is still cheaper, but I'm sure Vienna is cheaper than Amsterdam and Barcelona that said already orderred the ?20 burger at Kobe in Prague, which is worth the money :winkwink: |

Trust me - the hotel is sold out. We had the same issue last year. For whatever (contractual) reason the Hotel Praha cannot take their room contingent out of pages such as booking.com, etc. But if you actually book, what will happen is, that you arrive the day of the show at the hotel, and they will tell you that unfortunately they did an overbooking, and they will offer you to put you into a different 5 star hotel - on the very other side of Prague. Trust me, I know what I am speaking about, it happened various times last year. Please do yourself a favour and do not book a room at the Praha via any reseller (bookings.com, etc.) - unless you want to end up on the other side of Prague :) Kindest regards, Andreas |
prague, and i wish i will have time and partner to go to amsterdam and vienna also :) see you and drunk you there! :thumbsup

I just wanted to advise you, that flights from Amsterdam to Prague are currently only 45 Euro (57 USD):
http://www.swoodoo.com/de/flugsuche/.../E/1#f.stops:0 I thought the one or the other of you might want to take advantage of this really low price... Have a nice day! Andreas |
My sched is pretty tight around that time but I'll try my best to attend the Prague one
|
Prague and Amsterdam for sure this year.
|
Past year did only Prague and was nice but this year I'll go for sure to Amsterdam for a change, maybe Prague too but for what i was told, you end meeting the same people in all 3 shows.

Last year NETbilling did London, Praque and Amsterdam. We did the Oktoberfest gathering in the past as well. All great events.
Here is my recommendation... The O-gathering is much more of just a party but a great thing to experience. The other shows are all very well attended but there is much of a cross over crowd. I would suggest 2 if you want good coverage but if you can attend all, so be it! Mitch |

I have looked at over 40 (forty) five star hotels in Prague, and unfortunately the Praha is the only one where the show floor works for our group. Others were either even smaller (even less people fit into the venue hotel) or a lot larger like the InterConti or the Hilton (so we won't be able to rent them exclusively for our group - which would be a major downgrade for the event as a whole). Unfortunately how I currently see it is, that a decision against the Praha means, that we will have to move to another city, and currently, by the amazing number of registrations (over 250 already) and sponsors (over 20 already) we already got for our Prague Super Show, it feels to me, that a large part of our clients are not ready to leave Prague and move on (yet). In any case, trust me, we keep our ears and eyes open, and if we see a workable alternative, we will make sure to give it a shot. As you know, we have changed hotel for our Barcelona show two times already, always in the search of a way to promote our sponsors even better, and to provide our visitors with a better show experience. And we just did it again: The next European Summit in Barcelona will not take place in the Miramar Hotel again, as sponsors did not like the venue distribution - so we move on and the next European Summit will take place from March 1st until March 4th, 2013 in the Hotel Calipolis (www.hotelcalipolis.com) right at the beach with an improved show floor. Thanks again for your feedback though. Only if people tell us straigh what they do not like about our shows, and advise us how we can perform better in the future, we will eventually manage to get it right. Kindest regards, Andreas |
