I never would have thought when I was a kid that I would be doing what I do today...
 I so wanted to be a rock and roll star (I've been playing guitar since I was a little kid). It has definitely been a long strange trip, nonetheless, I truly have had a good life so far (and it's only getting better)... I still play guitar every day and night of my life, and I still live vicariously through my rock heroes.    ADG |

I did not have plans or hopes or dreams of being a actor or musician. I wanted to be a Marine, just like my daddy. My daddy died in Vietnam so I had no idea what being a Marine was when I was a kid, but we didn't "play army", instead, we played "Marines". I didn't know the difference then.
My master plan in life was all set. I was in the culinary program at my high school (which had a real live restaurant opened the public), and worked in a real restaurant at night. My plan was to join the Marines, become a cook, and then onto a culinary college. Plans change... I dropped out of high school and a few months later went into the Marines; Although I didn't graduate high school I showed up at my high school graduation in my dress blues. I didn't become a cook and was straight up infantry. Eventually I went to college for computers. I couldn't be happier with the way my life turned out. Joining the Marines was the best thing I ever did.

I never wanted to be anything other than a soldier...following a long line of family tradition. I became a soldier but I did not accomplish what I had intended which was a thirty year career. The first Gulf War ended my career after having served only 12 years. I was forced to leave the military for medical reasons.

I wanted to play music, be it a session player, in a band, a teacher, it didn't matter, I just wanted to be involved with music. So I went to school for that and made a good living for several years and then later ended up in the adult industry and moving away from playing music professionally because there was more money in porn. Oddly, when I was 19 and in music school I tried to get into the porn industry to make some extra money but I couldn't get my foot in the door. I did some odd jobs here and there between music gigs, but that was my passion.
However, not in my wildest dreams did I think I would be shooting porn in Thailand or any other devolving country, let alone making shemale porn. That is not the sort of thing you see coming. But I have no regrets and am happy with the choices I have made. The past 3 - 4 years excluded (because business has been slower than I'm used to) my ride has been nothing short of incredible and worthy of a book. |

I spent over 20 years of my life as a touring musician and bailed just before technology became accessible to everyone.
I had a fair bit of success in the '80s through early '90s, but you could honestly make more money as a burger flipper than as a musician in Canada back then unless you worked constantly. Which I did. Tons of work and tons of travel for so little financial return. Recording studios were fucking expensive during that period. A demo recording at Comfort Sound or MetalWorks could cost upwards of 10 grand if you hired a half-decent engineer. The Canadian music industry was a horrible little incestuous business back in those days. Could still be now, for all I know. |
