I have only experienced CCBill as an affiliate. Back in the day, before JaYMan Cash/That One Program was Raven Riley Cash, they used CCBill exclusively. But that was before I went onboard.

It is obviously the VISA approval that I was thinking of. I wasn't aware of it being a two tiered approach.

Though I do think that the post that Robbie copied over from XBiz kind of clarifies that they are aware of what they are processing.

I've been using CCBill for 7 years now and never thought I'd seen something like this from them.

I've always been a good client for CCBill. I've been happy with them. I see the CCBill bashing threads, (and you can look back and see) I've never been a part of that – I really like CCBill.

The notion that we should even have to submit or "cc" our takedown notices to CCBill for "proof" like the community did to get Oron's Paypal account killed is insulting. CCBill has eyes and ears here - they already KNOW what Oron is up to, and know their relationship to the pirate boards, and to the overseas filelocker "affiliate/money laundering" racket. And if someone in their sales department didn't know, they're incompetent and should be replaced.

I don't think any of us should forget this issue, or stop *(sigh)* bumping these related threads until they get their hands out of the piracy cookie jar.

If they don't, then for future business my ears are open to any billing processor that wants to take a stand against piracy.

The little guys, mom and pop operators of adult sites and their affiliates, made the Caldwell family hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars. I'm told Ron is a BILLIONAIRE, possibly the only billionaire ever in the porn industry. I had no doubt that ccbill will work it out and stop billing for ORON. CCbill is the straightest company in adult and the most reliable. Just the fact that they stayed away from aggressive pre-checked cross sales in the past - gives our industry a lot of loyal members nowadays. Lot's of members join only CCbill sites because of that.

Saying that, sometimes we need to wake them up like in this thread, great job guys )

the real surprise here is how desperate file locker sites are getting now, few years ago they wouldn't have had to try to use ccbill

It's awfully frustrating. Especially when Visa & even worse MasterCard are all over honest webmasters for dotting every "i" and crossing every "t". You can't even use the word "force" in a description on your site. Just try it. Write the words "she forced open the bottle of mustard" on your paysite. Master Card's bot will flag it and they will shut down your processing.

But yet...they allow CC Bill to process Oron? What a crock of shit.

Yes they do as well as for other file sharing/forum sites, so this whole blowup over oron has been pretty strange to me.

Maybe there should be a "blowup" over the rest of that stuff too.
