Bath salts are the most recent culprits suspected by the police which caused the zombie-like attack of Rudy Eugene, eating another man?s face last week in Miami. Eugene got killed along the MacArthur Causeway in Miami when he refused to stop eating another man?s face last Saturday, May 26, 2012.

Police earlier suspected that Eugene may have been suffering from ?cocaine psychosis?. Some point it out to LSD. But lately, another speculation was that he may have been under the influence of the so-called ?bath salts.? While these are merely speculations, Eugene needs to undergo autopsy to determine what really caused his zombie-like attitude.

The term ?bath salts? generally refers to a range of water-soluble, usually inorganic solid products designed to be added to a bath. However, we?re not referring to this here but to a drug which mimics it. It?s called ?bath salts? simply because it is a drug being sold disguised as bath salts, incense, potpourri or plant food, among a few other ordinary household products.

Bath salts contain amphetamine-like chemicals such as methylenedioxypyrovalerone (MDPV), mephedrone, and pyrovalerone and are being sold legally online and in drug stores under a variety of names, such as ?Ivory Wave,? ?Purple Wave,? ?Red Dove,? ?Blue Silk,? ?Zoom,? ?Bloom,? ?Cloud Nine,? ?Ocean Snow,? ?Lunar Wave,? ?Vanilla Sky,? ?White Lightning,? ?Scarface,? and ?Hurricane Charlie.? The drug is being described by many users as the closest thing they?ve come to a methamphetamine high
