Need a better embedded .flv player
The one I'm using (jw) won't let you jump to another part of the video until the preceeding portion is loaded.. Anyone know of a better one??

I'm not over here leasing half of a box and serving video Well it's sort of the same but it's shared hosting |

You need to set up lighttpd, nginx or apache with mod_flv_streaming and mod_h264_streaming (if you're going to use mp4s).
Oh and why are you serving videos on shared hosting?

OK...try this in your JW Player settings under "Streaming".
Add this "http" in there and see if it streams. It will auto detect to see if the server has a streaming service for FLV or MP4. My guess is that your shared server doesn't have anything set up for streaming services.
