				 | I always find the app is dumbed down so I tend to use the website. My iphone shows Wiki, IMDb or Facebook just fine on the browser. I only load the facebook browser as I can snap a photo right to facebook but I browse on the browser. Maybe I am alone doing this. |

				 | Very much depends on the site... I prefer the Facebook app and the Stubhub app... But on most sites, especially forums, I very much prefer the real site. |

				 | Ditto. The apps are usually just thrown together in order to benefit from having one in the app market and lack many of the features of the full website. |

For some sites that I use OFTEN, a GOOD app is worth it. For example, PayPal has a lot of features on the site. 98% of the time, I want to either check the balance or rarely, send a payment. Being able to log in without entering the password is handy. Most apps are simply limiting, so I just use the site for anything but Paypal I think.

				 | For some reason our local newspapers have their apps dumbed down so that they don't support anything, pinch zoom, back, videos or even linked videos, and I always end up opening up the full website.. Still if the app is good, I don't see why I'd open the browser etc

				 | I'd rather an app but ONLY if it has 100% of the features of the full site. Which is approximately zero of them. Most mobile sites are just plain stupid.

				 | An APP if it's built right. And that doesn't mean 100% of the website features as some people are claiming, that means it has all the features you constantly use. Needing to go to the website to do something I only do once a year doesn't bother me. Having an extra feature on my app that I only use once a year that ends up blogging up the app will bother me. The point of having an app is to provide me with features I need more easily so I can accomplish the task at hand more quickly and efficiently. If I simply want the website and all of it's features - I should just visit the website right? That's what responsive design is for.
