4 years ago I joined GFY.com hoping and praying that I could somehow earn a living from my hobby of 'playing with photoshop'. It's been a fantastic ride and to all my friends and clients I say the biggest thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and repeat business over the years.

Even to the trolls, haters and idiots. You serve your purpose and I love you too.

To celebrate a 1k post it's customary to post a gift of some awesome tits or a word or two of wisdom. I say funk dat!

My 1k post gift is to myself. I have asked a few questions from the GFY community in the past.
What's it like working 'in-house'?
What do in-house designers earn?

I have been working alongside Kent for the past few weeks and I intend to stay in-house with them for the forseeable. They are simply the most awesome crew I could imagine working with.

Far from abandoning gimme-website.com, I am still very much captain of my own ship.
GW is no longer a one person operation, my collegue Ninna is doing superb and she is currently booked for the next 6 weeks

I have some very special ideas for a templates section that I'm going to develop. It will be our best work, at prices you can't resist... with an extra twist to give you even greater value.

She has been doing all my coding for the past 3 months. I taught her my practices and she is as good as i am.

Design wise...I wouldnt let her loose on a solo girl tour quite yet. But she has done some banners/illustrations and a gallery or two.

Her PSD/WP conversion are top notch. As i said she is currently booked for 6 weeks. Mainly mainstream splash pages ect.

To answer your question. I think give it a month and she will have a good body of work for me to give her her own little section on GW.
