This would be the best thing that ever happened to denver. They can write off tebow without any real backlash from the fans. What fan in there right mind is gonna say they would rather have tebow then arguably the best to ever play. They get out of tebowmania. They prey manning comes back strong. Peyton Manning was let go because his ability to throw passes was compromised by the operation he underwent. In practice his passing ability was severally slowed to the point he can no longer throw bullets or hail marys... So anybody that gets him is hoping, like some stroke victims, his nervous system will rewire itself and his previous passing ability will return before the next season begins.

sounds like it's coming down to a decision between Denver and Arizona.

i'm sure the lure of Denver for him is all about playing for John Elway but Arizona makes the most sense for him - Peyton's played his career in dome stadiums, Arizona has one, in Denver he'll be playing in the cold and snow. Arizona has one of the best wide receivers in the game, Larry Fitzgerald. Denver has a very difficult schedule next year.

fuck Miami, he won't be going there, bad franchise, bad fans, bad ownership.

good chance whoever signs him will regret it unless his throwing arm is back to close to 100% which is doubtful.

tony kornheiser got it right. Manning is playing the media. yesterday its denver. today its tennessee & miami. a week ago at his presser, manning said he didnt put a thought into who he might want to play for. obvious bullshit.

all of this guesswork presumes he will be peyton manning again. Theres a pretty good shot his best days are done. if he cant throw the deep pass, whats left? he cant scramble. defenses will lock into the short passing game. he will be good at audibles. big deal.

might be a good idea, gambling wise, to wager against whatever team he chooses early on. The lines will be grossly inflated, & will be a good opportunity for sharps to get some covers when he is flat early in the season.
