I went to the Apple store today to demo one, the idiots working there had no idea there was a new iPad coming out. Gotta love Thailand.

They're all resellers and it'll take months to come to Thailand.

I went to "the Apple store" in Pantip to get my iBook fixed. It should have been free because Apple fucked up with the rubber bottom. Took hours arguing with the staff before they called Apple and confirmed they would get paid.

Not going to move from 2 to this gen. But it looks nice the resolution and better camera are nice, but not worth the upgrade imo

my 27" i7 imac from 2009 is running at 2560x1440

still, your point is valid, just not enough for me to switch, cos i just got the ipad2 last december... that, plus it's mainly the kids that are on it, so until multi-user comes to the ipad, I ain't upgrading

I think they're going to feel the squeeze of people waiting to get a Win8 tablet this time around. After seeing the Win8 demos, the iPad's OS looks really old and rigid. I'm guessing apple is going to really struggle to maintain marketshare going forward.

Yea, they are knuckle heads for sure. But that applies to any store selling any product.

My friend books a ticket and heads to the Apple store in Manila when he has issue just so he doesn't have to deal with Thais.

You don't need a USB port. All of the software, videos, pictures, music, files, apps etc are all transferable wirelessly with built-in 802.11.n. And to be honest I've never once missed having a usb port on our iPad 2.

Asus Transformer Infinity has specs that put this new iPad to shame.

I think it's more like a fashion trend that some people decide to PAY OVERPRICED electronic WASTE like ipad or iphone and use it just to check emails or Tweet, when you can get a similar gadget 5 times cheaper...
