is there something that i can use where i can pay to watch a current tv show? i mean if i miss an episode tonight it was so easy to download it but now i just dont watch it at all i guess? kind of sucks :/

have you been living under a rock for the last 2 years? There's tons of options for pay to watch on the internet.

There's also the option of looking for when the show is repeated and DVR'ing it. A few networks repeat their first run shows later in the week.

Ok I have Netflix, I'm in Canada, what are my options? What if two shows are going on at once and I can't watch either, I have to choose one to record? I'm just saying if there was a way to pay for it I would but I have to download since it is the only way I can see some shows.

You have a valid point, but everything works in steps and they are usually small ones.

Eliminating file lockers is just one small part of the equation. However, it is something that needs to be dealt with.

We also don't know how all of this is going to effect the reincarnation of SOPA. This could have all been planned. There is a plan and none of us are privy to what it is. Should MegaUpload return and do so 100% abroad, that is an excellent excuse to try to push a lighter version of SOPA through so that they can shut down sites abroad.

Bottom line, we'll just have to wait and see. This arrest may be a one time bust, or it could be the start of something massive.
