In case there is anybody that has not heard about the current story in the news, a Canadian-Pakistani father, mother, and son, were found guilty of first degree murder, in the "honor killings" of their 3 teenage daughters, and the father's second wife ...

A key factor in the guilty verdict was a wiretap of the father saying "May the devil SHIT on their graves ... Is that what a daughter should be? Would [a daughter] be such a FUCKING whore?"

You can see the delight on the newscasters' faces when they repeat the quote verbatim without any censorship ...

Canada has a rather embarrassing track record for letting criminals walk on technicalities ...

We were fully expecting them to get off, or plead to a lesser sentence. We were very proud of our judicial system in this case!!!

Hopefully the guards in the jail they will be sent will accidently leave a rope and a stool in these monsters cell.

It may have something to do with the fact that they would almost be regarded as "heroes" in their homeland ... where "honor killings" are a regular occurrence?!?

So in effect, deporting them would be letting them off scott free ... NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!

I think they are still better off here in jail being fed and roomed then back in their country. Why did they come over here in the first place.

Maybe sending them back would give a strong message to those thinking of coming to Canada but not live by our laws and culture.
