CBC National News is having fun saying SHIT and FUCK on prime time news!!
In case there is anybody that has not heard about the current story in the news, a Canadian-Pakistani father, mother, and son, were found guilty of first degree murder, in the "honor killings" of their 3 teenage daughters, and the father's second wife ...
A key factor in the guilty verdict was a wiretap of the father saying "May the devil SHIT on their graves ... Is that what a daughter should be? Would [a daughter] be such a FUCKING whore?" You can see the delight on the newscasters' faces when they repeat the quote verbatim without any censorship ... :winkwink: |
i'm so glad to see those pieces of shit locked up.

Canada has a rather embarrassing track record for letting criminals walk on technicalities ... We were fully expecting them to get off, or plead to a lesser sentence. We were very proud of our judicial system in this case!!! :thumbsup:thumbsup |
We should fucking ship those shitbags back in their country. Why would we have to pay for their emprisonment.
Hopefully the guards in the jail they will be sent will accidently leave a rope and a stool in these monsters cell. |

So in effect, deporting them would be letting them off scott free ... NOT GONNA HAPPEN!! |
I think they are still better off here in jail being fed and roomed then back in their country. Why did they come over here in the first place.
Maybe sending them back would give a strong message to those thinking of coming to Canada but not live by our laws and culture. The Costs of Incarceration x 25 years... I'd rather them sent away then pay for these criminals. BTW how do you like paying 35-40% Taxes every year and + 16% on every products you buy???? Correctional services expenditures totalled almost $3 billion in 2005/6, up 2% from the previous year. Custodial services (prisons) accounted for the largest proportion (71%) of the expenditures, followed by community supervision services (14%), headquarters and central services (14%), and National Parole Board and provincial parole boards (2%). This figure does not include policing or court costs which bring the total expenditures up to more than $10 billion for the year. Cost of incarcerating a Federal prisoner (2004/5): $259.05 per prisoner/per day Cost of incarcerating a Federal female prisoner (2004/5): $150,000-$250,000 per prisoner/per year Cost of incarcerating a Federal male prisoner (2004/5): $87,665 per prisoner/per year Cost of incarcerating a provincial prisoner (2004/5): $141.78: per prisoner/per day The cost of alternatives such as probation, bail supervision and community supervision range from $5-$25/day. |
The downside of letting people pay for citizenship.

So it costs each Canadian a couple dollars to see that they do not get away with their crime ...
I'll gladly cough up for this!! :thumbsup |
I think it's a very good thing that we're setting an active precedent so this kind of thing doesn't happen here again. What a senseless loss.
|
nice to see this outcome
|
I don't want to hear/read about how comfortable they are in jail 5 years from now.
