when did BangBus jump the shark?
Can anyone pinpoint the exact update? Or was it the oversaturation?

I think oversaturation was the main problem. Just about everyone was promoting them at a certain moment.

I think it was around this time last year that I had friends mention it to me, friends who never even spoke of porn.
It became more akin to a show like Jackass than your standard adult website... |

Rumor is they made so much money they dont give a fuck anymore.
Can you blame them. But yeah, opening the program to the throngs of newbs didnt help the saturation problem. |

Also, there were hundreds of passes available on the pass boards - which can't be a good thing. |

FYI - For those who do not know what "jump the shark" means. It is a term meaning when did something (usually a tv show or some other form of entertainment or amusement) start to go downhill.
The term comes from jump-the-shark.com and has a funny origin. Several friends were sitting around talking about TV and one mentioned that Happy Days started to go downhill in the episode where Fonzi jumped over a pool of sharks on waterskis. They created a website that tracks when people think things started to go downhill . when they "jumped the shark". I remember watching that episode. Of course I was still a kid so I didn't realize it was a turning point for Happy Days. I just wondered why Fonzi was wearing his leather jacket while he waterskiied... ![]()
