Raspberry Pi !
Its a complete computer, size of a credit card, that has been developed in the UK... It runs linux...

Big Woop? Well, no, no really, but its gonna sell for about $34.00 ! Yup thirty four bucks! Even cheaper when china gets hold of it, and rips off the tech...

Mostly designed as a gaming-in-between PC component, its an amazing breakthrough...

The original test run, are selling at $1700 plus on Ebay- BUT ONLY AT THAT PRICE FOR CHARITY...

That's a pretty cool idea too actually.

I have a lot of my movie content ripped and stored in a central location on the home network. These would be great loaded with XBMC and plugged into the TVs to use as an HTPC. From what I can gather, they will be able to handle 1080p video with no problems.
