Does he know domain control is godaddy's default DNS for new domains at NS.DOMAINCONTROL, etc. and not their parking service (ie, NS.CASHPARKING) ?

Apparently not "of the community ones, 3200 are parked at Domain Control, and about 4000 at various other parking services".
