Would be nice to swipe my card and not pay a dollar.

The other night despite entering my billing information correctly three times, my card was declined. I was assessed a fee each time.

I thought I was done with Paxum but a payment came in.

I hope everybody adopts RedPass.

Transactions that take place at restaurants are authorized for the amount of the meal purchase plus 20% to ensure that you have sufficient funds available to pay for the purchase amount plus a gratuity. This is necessary as the Merchant does not know the total amount of the transaction until you add your tip (which occurs after the transaction is authorized) and RedPass does not know the total amount of the transaction until that time.

Much better fees than Paxum? WTF?

Pro Redpass:
- No POS Transaction fee

Pro Paxum:
- Cheaper ATM Withdrawal Fee
- Cheaper P2P Transfer fee ($0.25 Paxum vs. $1 RedPass)
- Slightly cheaper yearly fee for MasterCard
- No Account Balance Limit
- afaik no minimum amounts for current account deposit and card load

Other than the points above the fees and conditions are pretty much the same and both have their MC issued by Choice Bank. So why the hell should I switch over from one system that almost everyone uses now and which has earned a really good reputation within its first year to a completely new system? Not to forget that its launch was delayed almost a year.

Nah, sorry. Already way too much plastic in my wallet right now.

I prefer to use Paypal for receiving money from sponsors now that they allow it. I don't see the point in signing up with Paxum or Redpass and paying some stupid annual fee and putting up with ridiculous verification policies. Not to mention having to trust yet another company post-epassporte in this crooked industry.

Sponsors- I wish more of you would pay via Paypal. I especially dislike the ones which have no checks or ACH but only have Paxum. Now I'm sure we'll see much the same now with the other half only having Redpass. Forcing many of us to have both. It just seems stupid and a waste to me when Paypal works great for receiving money from you.

I hardly ever use my Paxum card for POS transactions (so I don't care for the POS transaction fee), but I often do P2P transfers to pay my content provider, designers, and so on. Plus they claim the Mac and Linux versions are "under development" so it looks like you need Windows to make p2p transfers. And then there is the whole issue of having to install a mysterious piece of software just to make a p2p transfer.

Here in the US it isn't so bad for me. I don't pay anything to receive and they've never asked me to send them my identification. You just verify your bank and other accounts by telling them the amount deposited. There's no annual fee either. I can transfer the money to my bank account for free. I prefer to use Paypal.

We are still making changes and this is not what it seems like to you, you can add as many codes yourself as you want for free its only if you require support to assist you with it.
So you can reinstall 18 times a day but then you would need to generate 18 new keys a day by yourself inside your account, if you want us to do it for you it will cost a fee.

p2p for personal accounts are $.25
You can generate the keys for yourself as you need them, you get 3 at signup and then extra ones are free if you generate them yourself from your dashboard.
We added the OTP because its a secure option and yes it will inconvenient a few but for the majority it will benefit them to know we have a lot of layers of security to ensure our customers funds are as safe as possible.

Until its released we offer a SMS option for $.25. Or if you have an IPhone you can use it there.
