This is a soft launch to ensure everything is working properly and we did not expect a post on GFY within hours a couple of hours of the website going live, when we do an official launch I will be happy to answer all questions, we are still tweaking some of the small things.

I will not be using redpass, like I don't use paxum or any other middle man besides paypal... I have yet to come across any issues of someone not being able to pay me or receive funds from me via paypal... and I've had my paypal account for like 12 years lol.

- Slightly cheaper yearly fee for MasterCard
- No Account Balance Limit
- afaik no minimum amounts for current account deposit and card load

Other than the points above the fees and conditions are pretty much the same and both have their MC issued by Choice Bank. So why the hell should I switch over from one system that almost everyone uses now and which has earned a really good reputation within its first year to a completely new system? Not to forget that its launch was delayed almost a year.

Nah, sorry. Already way too much plastic in my wallet right now.
This. I'll sit this one out. Paxum works perfectly fine for my needs.

Nobody is forcing you to use either.

It is, if at all will be one of the methods that your sponsor chooses to use to pay affiliates. Choose the method that suits you and stop fucking moaning when there is no drama.

I know I am closing the stable door after the horse has already bolted but....

You should have soft launched to your existing Zombaio customers who know and trust you not put the website accidentally live to immediate and intimate scrutiny from professional question answers who don't process with you and won't immediately see why this has huge potential to be more than just a paxum alternative or epassporte clone.

There are already questions in this thread like "what sponsors use it?" and "has anybody received a payment through it yet?"

Competing head to head with Paxum should not be your first objective in my opinion. That should be selling redpass to your existing Zombaio processing base especially:

1, Non US webmasters who process with Zombaio and hate the wire fees
2. US webmasters who process with Zombaio who don't get paid by ACH

As these people generate positive feedback, the rest should then fall into place naturally.....

That'll definitely keep us out. We're not installing unknown software promoted by ePassporte's guy on our network, and we sure as hell ain't setting up a Windows box to do it. None of our banks, Paypal, Paxum, nobody requires customers to install software giving them access to our private network in addition to our money. Since can't think of any legitimate reason to require that, it forces me wonder about illegitimate reasons.

Maybe, maybe if we were allowed to audit and sign the code, but that would be a heck of a lot of hassle instead of just clicking in our Paypal account.

We also have a SMS option, if you send transfers via API you have the option to not use the OTP. Most sponsors would send via NATS, MPA3 or their own custom system this way eliminating the need for the OTP.

That "epassporte guy" that now works for RedPass also used to work for Paxum. That is two companies that vetted and hired him. Probably safe to throw that conspiracy theory out the window. It is obvious he was kept as out of the loop (he was a remote worker after all) as the rest of us during the ePass implosion.

Either way, they'll also offer sms and api for the security minded folks.

Yeah, just that you charge $0.25 for EVERY code sent by SMS. Don't get me wrong, security codes through SMS are a good idea, but ePayService, which is an e-wallet solution I already use, offers those for FREE.

About the huge potential of RedPass mentioned by lagcam... Well, RedPass is what Non-US webmasters were asking CCBill to create for... dunno, 5 years now? An own card as payout solution for processing clients and affiliates. So Zombaio listened to that and while CCBill still doesn't give a fuck about their non US clients and keep offering 2 ancient payout methods as the only ones, Zombaio went a step ahead. So far, so good. Might also sound like the perfect solution for my paysite projects I plan to release next year. So too bad all this can be destroyed with one question:

How many affiliates are willing to promote Zombaio programs (using the Zombaio affiliate system)?

So, if you can build an awesome affiliate backend which is widely accepted by adult webmasters around the globe, which is what CCBill has, than we can talk about RedPass again

This is their solution to go around hacked private accounts which I think is great. I have downloaded the iPhone app. Not tested it yet since I don't have any money on my account but it looks good.. like a banking digi pass.

If I can trust them with my money (which I do) the app is the least worry I have. In my world it's only good they take security seriously.

Yes this is to prevent customers with outdated windows versions or they are not aware of phising emails and so on. We just want to make RedPass as secure as possible.
We have listen to your feedback and for business accounts the SMS option is now being changed to free instead of $.25.

Michael O congrats and welcome to the maelstrom.

With regard to the download app for security, great idea.

You say 5 cards per account does this include personal account.

Card limits has always been an issue for us since we have performers that receive more than 2500 usd per payment.

What are your limits for each withdrawal?

Submitting application for business account and for personal account now.

Good luck

The limit is $2500 per day per card which can be done in one withdrawal if the ATM supports withdrawals of this size we do not operate with a per transaction limit, all accounts can have multiple cards so if your personal account have 2 MasterCards you can take out $5000 a day (2x$2500) but the monthly limit per card is $75.500 (30x$2500 + ATM fees if any), so for studios or high volume webmasters this is an ideal solution.

When will you add the RedPass payout option to Zombaio?
And do we have to have a business account to receive Zombaio payouts or does a personal account work too?

Hi Tristran,
We are currently testing the RedPass payout method on Zombaio. It will be there in a few days and we will send out a PM to all Zombaio clients once its there.

You need to have a RedPass business account to receive payouts from Zombaio. However a personal and business account in RedPass is just a question of pricing. You can upgrade a personal account to a business account with just two clicks.

RedPass as payout method will be available for both merchants and affiliates.
