I would never consider 130-140 as genius level. 160+, yeah. Maybe its just me. I don't know.

Why would they say it's a "drawback"?

Whether the goody two shoes holier-than-thou fucks realize it or not, our culture would be far poorer if not for the fact that intelligent people enjoy recreational drugs.

The Beatles for instance. Some of the greatest songs ever written were written "under the influence". Jimi Hendrix...revolutionized guitar and music. The Stones, their best work was done on cocaine and heroin.
And just listen to the crap that the corporate bands produce today. I say get 'em all tripping on acid and we'd have good music being made again. lol

Art, literature, even architecture all follow the same thing.

As for "normal" people with "real" jobs...I'm sure many of you who have partied in your life have had the same experiences I have: doing blow with doctors, laywers, even politicians (one was a district attorney who told me that if I were ever arrested in his county he would prosecute me to the full extent of the law lol )

The media tends to only show "poor" or dumb people who are lying in the gutter from drug abuse. They don't talk about the tens of millions of people who party on recreational drugs and live perfectly normal lives.

I know it's politically incorrect in this conservative society we are in to say openly: "I like to party and smoke a joint, do a line, and have a beer"
But the reality is that a LOT of people do. There's a reason the U.S. is the biggest consumer of "illegal drugs"

You can pretty much walk into any crowded casino here in Vegas, go to the high roller poker room, and most guys at the table have a bag of coke in their pocket.

Like you say, it's definitely not 130-140 for a genius, that's just a high IQ :2 cents:

Many consider 160+ to be genius and 200+ as 'unmeasureable genius'

:2 cents:

That's a fairly accurate, if unflattering, description of me. The smarts only meant that I learned enough from the California gold rush to sell shovels and jeans rather than being a webmaster myself.

I did ridiculous amounts of marijuana myself. It might be reasonable to think that people whose brains are on overdrive would enjoy a substance that slows it down.

guess you never read the study. high iq people are bored by normal reality and seek extreme experiences to stimulate themselves.

btw if you think the world to be a pile of dung that means you are bind and dead soul. reality is beautiful.

no science needed to know how come ... high IQ ppl have a bigger hunger for life ... dig a lil deeper and you will find out the most intelligent ppl go for LSD or mushrooms rather than coke or whitey :2 cents: my Golden Teacher shrooms are dry and ready to use now hehe ;)

Either way, makes a lot of sense to me.

A IQ test is a standard test administered to compare people on certain forms of intelligences. Logical-Mathematics-Spacio Temporal, common knowledge, etc...

You can definitly learn stuff and have different results a few years later on some of the stuff.

My girlfriend and my best friend went to one of the best pharmacy schools in the country, and I can tell you that these were some really intelligent kids who did A LOT of fucking drugs there. One of the main motivations for them to go to this school in the first place, and major in chemistry, biology and pharmaceutical business was their love of drugs.

Nah 130-150 is highly skilled. It's at 150ish you start beeing considered a genious. I don't remember the percentages, but it was very small.

I call bullshit on the 186.
