best professional trade script

What is best pro trade script out there?
Cost $500-$1,500
C++ on time critical processes
fast database
would love built in geo-location sensitive trades. (If you send me a russian surfer, I send you a russian surfer.)

I found one good one but he won't provide the source code. God knows what he wanted to compile on my box, so I passed.

I don't think you ar e going to find any of the higher level ones that will allow you access to their code. They are probably wondering "God knows what this guy wants to do with my code?"

None of the really good pro ones will let you look into their source code. UCJ and TM3 are generally considered the best ones around.

BTW, if I were you I'd prefer C instead of C++ on time critical processes. C is slightly faster.

Interesting, i didnt know that.

I woulda thought since C++ was derived from C, it would have the same funcionality but better.

Derived from C says it all. They made it object oriented and added functionality. However, that takes away some of the speed.

This is pretty sad because i went ot school for programming, but it was quite some time ago and we didnt learn C or C++, they tought us Java and JS, and all the HTML family as well as oracle and PL/SQL.

Anyhow, what was the oposite of OOP, top down?

Yup, I figured it was something like that. I thought they were afraid I'd set myself up in the software business.

My concern is truly that they might compile some kind of spyware or other garbage along with their code. Or even IN their code.

How could you tell if sw is doing something it shouldn't? I've been told that packet sniffing my bandwidth is the only way to know and that it is difficult and expensive to do.
