If he's merely offensive but not violating the rules I don't see any reason for a ban. On the other hand, if one were to go looking you might find a dozen times he's violated rule #4 and maybe rule #6.

Just last night when I joked that sophmoric attempts to make fun of people and personal attacks without any basis in reasoning were common to a certain group, his reply was "This clown gets my vote for GFY Dumbfuck of the Year".

Even right after being called on personal attacks divorced from the issues, he responsed with guess what - a personal attack divorced from the issues.
