It has nothing to do with wanting people to switch to Android. They just released a brand new Gmail iPhone app.
Not many people used the Gmail app for BlackBerry. Most people just use the advanced Gmail integration in the BlackBerry (which is much better than the App anyway) so the whole Gmail app was pretty useless. |

^ is it an actual app or do you just use your gmail account for your email on blackberry? Idk who would get a specific app for gmail, iphone you just choose gmail as your email service..

Yes they had an actual app, but no one uses it anymore, because for years you can just use gmail in the built-in blackberry email app, which has 2-way sync etc. So no use for the App at all.
