Anyone use Verotel? Is there a number to reach their tech support or customer service for webmasters? I've emailed several times, and no one bothers to fucking respond.

Thats reason #2 for not using Verotel. They have support - just not all day in the same country. At night your supposed to call a NON toll free number in their country. During the day your supposed to call a toll free number in California but they dont always answer that phone.

Reason #1 is that the chargebacks from them snowball then cut deep into your funds after about 6 months. A year later they will still be pulling chargeback money from your reserves. They bill and rebill so late its un friggin believable.

Verotels scrubbing, tech support, webmaster area and response times are terrible. No one who runs any kind of succesful site with either CCBill or GloBil would ever stay with Vertotel even as a back-up for very long.

They replied to my email after nearly 3 days. I guess no one was working on the weekend. Things don't look so great so far, after experiencing this, and seeing others replies.

I switched my 1-900 billing over to them after iBill went into their current tailspin. But that's all I use them for.

Does anyone know of any viable/reliable IPSPs that accept international accounts? I was thinking about using Verotel but this thread doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Of course there's ProBilling, but their support boards are filled with accusations that their scrubbing is so brutal that you're lucky if you get a 30% card approval rate!

Has anyone had any experience using PayPal for recurring billing on an adult site?

Can anyone offer any other suggestions? I'm aware of ccbilleu.com but that's no use to me because I live in Australia.

You can call our US toll free number 877 647 1300 if you wish to speak to someone rather than by email.

You will find the answers to most of your questions in the ControlCenter. However, if you are unable to find an answer to a particular question, the following e-mail or website address(es) may come in handy.

[email protected] -For questions regarding setup (e.g., order page, user payment options, trail periods, recurring billing, remote user management script etc.)

[email protected] -For questions regarding invoices or payments you have or have not received.

http://cancel.verotel.com - for customers to cancel a subscription (we recommend that you display this link on your site).

[email protected] -If you would like us to process a refund for a customer, or if the customer is having a problem with their usercode/passcode to access the members area of your site.
