My Second long term GF was the roommate of a girl that I used to work with, I started to hang out at their place and just hit it off.

I had a full time job working for the phone company making about $70k a year. I continued to work at Wienerschnitzel, but only because it was a great place to meet girls. It seemed to have worked.

We met at a pet supply store we both worked at. I was 17 she was 16. I was a stock boy, she was a cashier. We talked a few times, mostly jus bs'in, but I didnt know how I was going to try and get the digits. I had only been working there for two weeks by the time I started gettin the hots for her.

So one time I came into the store on a day I wasnt workin to buy some shit, but I needed to write down my schedule for next week... I went up to her and asked to borrow a piece of paper and a pen. She gave me two pieces (hmm) of paper and a pencil and I went away to write my schedule. When I was done I came back to her to give the stuff back (i had that extra paper), and she said keep it. I said 'wtf am I gonna do with this, I have nothing else to write?' And then a big ass lightbulb popped in my head - 'this would be the moment to say some shit like "how bout I write your number down?". And so I did, figuring if I say it jokingly then any rejection wouldnt be so bad since it was a spur of the moment thing. Well it worked. So that was back in the summer of 95'... a few years and a kid later, we are still together.

My story is considerably less romantic than most.

It was my final year in university - I was graduating with a BSc in chem and no real plans for the future, all I knew was that I wanted to have some fun for my last few month. The classes were a lock and I was set.

One night in March, I went to a birthday party for several people (One was me). We all have birthdays the same week of the year, so parties tend to get mixed into one larger one instead of a smaller one.

I had just finished watching Magnum, P.I., and I decided that I would go to the party decked in Hawiian gear. Took a walk down to the market, a friend and I each bought a pineapple, stopped at the Thrift store, and each got kickass hawiian shirts.

Went home and hollowed out the pineapples, and began to mix drinks in them. Well, one drink led to another and before I knew it it was time to go to the party and I could barely walk.

Made it there and walked in, just 2 of us, totally destroyed and walked into a room of cold sober people - I realized at this point it was 6pm and most normal people were just beginning to drink.

After a few hours of drinking and encouraging others, I notice this girl across the room. Super cute, short, just my type. Being realistic, I realized that I was the tard who had come to a party dressed in hawiian and had obviously been drinking alone before the party. So I decided to keep rolling with the booze.

The girls at the party had made these Jello shooters and began to pass them out, spraying whipped cream on top of them. I avoided those, stuck to my rum drinks and after a while I found myself in the kitchen.

I'm not sure why, but I had watched "Go" a few weeks earlier and saw the characters snorting the propellant from whipped cream up their noses. So I raided the fridge, grabbed the can, sat on the floor, and let er rip.

Well just as I began, this cute girl I had seen earlier walked in the room, and looked over at this fuck-ass drunk hawiian clad guy snorting whipped cream propellant on the floor in the corner of the kitchen at a party. Not knowing what to say - I said "Hey" while holding in my breath with the stuff still in my lungs. She took one look at me and started laughing so hard she fell over.

2 years later, we are together, and I have never been happier. Getting married when I finish up my graduate studies.

Now that's one for the kids.

It was my final year in university - I was graduating with a BSc in chem and no real plans for the future, all I knew was that I wanted to have some fun for my last few month. The classes were a lock and I was set. One night in March, I went to a birthday party for several people (One was me). We all have birthdays the same week of the year, so parties tend to get mixed into one larger one instead of a smaller one. I had just finished watching Magnum, P.I., and I decided that I would go to the party decked in Hawiian gear. Took a walk down to the market, a friend and I each bought a pineapple, stopped at the Thrift store, and each got kickass hawiian shirts. Went home and hollowed out the pineapples, and began to mix drinks in them. Well, one drink led to another and before I knew it it was time to go to the party and I could barely walk. Made it there and walked in, just 2 of us, totally destroyed and walked into a room of cold sober people - I realized at this point it was 6pm and most normal people were just beginning to drink. After a few hours of drinking and encouraging others, I notice this girl across the room. Super cute, short, just my type. Being realistic, I realized that I was the tard who had come to a party dressed in hawiian and had obviously been drinking alone before the party. So I decided to keep rolling with the booze. The girls at the party had made these Jello shooters and began to pass them out, spraying whipped cream on top of them. I avoided those, stuck to my rum drinks and after a while I found myself in the kitchen. I'm not sure why, but I had watched "Go" a few weeks earlier and saw the characters snorting the propellant from whipped cream up their noses. So I raided the fridge, grabbed the can, sat on the floor, and let er rip. Well just as I began, this cute girl I had seen earlier walked in the room, and looked over at this fuck-ass drunk hawiian clad guy snorting whipped cream propellant on the floor in the corner of the kitchen at a party. Not knowing what to say - I said "Hey" while holding in my breath with the stuff still in my lungs. She took one look at me and started laughing so hard she fell over. 2 years later, we are together, and I have never been happier. Getting married when I finish up my graduate studies.
