I am not sure.

I think he said that Fleshlight was being promoted on a beasty site, but was banned before he could post proof via a screen cap.

Because as they grow they buy higher priced attorneys and these lawyers want to get paid. Doing work is a way to get paid. So they scare the company into thinking that they have to hardcore protect their trademark. They don't even go into the amount of money they will save by not competing with the same people that built their brand. OK... They do mention it in a smooth way...
So now you have an affiliate program that is deathly afraid that anyone can come in and cost them millions later or sue for a portion of the company... blah blah... it is all bullshit and all along the way the attorneys are making mad bank with their new job of sending you C&D's...

Wrong... they only have to keep competition from using their mark. Which is why one of the most Jewish (in a good way) people here at GFY is allowing people to use his trademarks so long as they promote his sites only when using them. I have a few myself and others have bitched when being called out and pointed to mine... And he let them know I am a good boy. I don't use his marks to sell even dating programs...
