Agreed. So far... So good...

But with processors now I think that you need to have several and be ready to jump at a moments notice.

the only thing i dont like about globill is their password management.....other than that, globill has been great.

ccbill is good too....has alot of options and their support is great, but unlike globill they just couldnt seem to comprehend having a members section on a different domain than the public page.
globill understood what i wanted and didnt balk at anything pertaining to my setup or configuration.

i think both ccbill and globill are good processors, however im sticking with globill for the moment.
but ccbill still gets props for their support being available every minute of the day.

They've been great so far, and seemed to cover their rapid expansion because of VISA without any problems.

And yep their tech support is great, even with foreign lang. sites.

Globill has a messy second signup page asking for bank and bank support phone, loose signups there.

They dont have telephone support which is a bitch when you feel like beeing abusive to them in person.

Good things are no visa fee. few chargebacks and no hackers delight.

You can set your watch after ccbill checks.

ccbill seeems to have a easy hacked software

After the Lancelot Security debacle, cost me a fortune, I decided to really investigate which processor to use. I signed-up with CCBill, IBill, Epoch, Verotel, and Globill.

The difference really amazed me. Globill seemed so far ahead of all the others and offered so much more.

Then the VISA extortion happened, and quite honestly all the other companies seem to panic like headless chickens (not verotel). They had loadsa of advanced warning of this and they all pretty much fucked it up, except Globill, who were prepared and calm. I felt very warm and fuzzy.

This is just my opinion, and does not include affiliate stuff, which I didn't use at the time.

I think CCBill has the best system for affiliates, but Globill is just hands down the best to deal with, the most straightforward. I think Epoch is a really nickel and dime outfit and seeing them as the processor definitely turns me off from an affiliate program. Epoch does not respond to e-mails like Globill does or even CCBill and Epoch will do things like charge two dollars to cut a check which seems just sort of grabby to me.

We have used Globill for over 15 months and no problems at all. Recurring is not very good with them thats why we use Epoch as our main processor on our largest site.
In 12 months with Epoch our sign ups have increased by as much as 30%. The main thing i like about Epoch is their tech support, its amazing. 24 hours a day someone always gets back to us within just a few minutes. I f you are doing quantity then i suggest Epoch with CCBILL as back up .

affiliates want a bigger pay check, Globill processes mopre than CCBILL so Globill is the way to go.

CCBill best feature is the decline forwarding. I would recommend CCBill and Globill as 2nd processor for the declines.

Globill has been pretty good for us. My major complaint is that they follow the "mushroom theory" of management - keep the customers in the dark, and feed them shit.

They have a diners club logon on the signup page, but don't take diners club, just decline them.

Their foreign dialers have been down for months (still are?) but they don't tell their webmasters.

And a few times when they have had system problems I emailed them and they confessed - but no announcement from them.

Their obsession with lack of disclosure hurts them, and in the long run is a very bad sign.

Met them in Vegas and they seemed very together and keen to get my business. Nothing I did not like about them.

On my return I gave my webmaster instructions to look into it more closely and see how they fit our needs.

Two problems, they had a $50 ceiling and wanted instant download. Both totally unsuitable to a content supplier. Our average order is over $50 and we approve EVERY client before we license to them. Had a guy late last year who did not want to tell me who or where he was or where he wanted to put the content.

So I phone GloBill and was lucky enough to find the rep I spoke to in Vegas. We discussed our needs and he said he would speak to his manager and get a decision before the end of the day, which he would email me with. This was two weeks ago, I've heard nothing from them. This is not a good service, in fact it sucks.

Just my experience.

No complaints to be honest. Although I signed up for a couple of sites in their affiliate scheme and wasn't too impressed. Never replied to my emails, I couldn't even tell if I was 'live' for a while.

In the end tho they just don't match Globill feature wise, and I love some of the Globill features (Form login. Random usernames/passwords, used that on a site that used to get hacked to death, totally stopped now, mainly hackers don't touch globill sites. Delayed till cleared processing of online checks has also saved me a bit. Server monitoring, they email me if my server is down. Abuse monitoring, they track IP addresses used to login, much like pennywize etc. (but they don't actually block, just email))

I also like Globills chargeback/dispute policy (see there page on it , no VISA fees, and the fact that sites have to meet at least a minimal quality code (less likely to have problems with chargebacks/CC companies).

The main thing. I have a lot of sites to maintain and what I really want is a processor which won't generate work for me. So far they have generated zero work for me and saved me a bundle. I love it

I'm using globill at the moment with no problems, I don't care for using their join page as it looks kinda goofy imo, I will be switching to a more custom script layout in the near future and at that point will probably give

epoch/ccbill a run, I've heard nothing but good about both of them, and whoever allows the most flexibility, least % cut, and can process the most transactions gets the biz bottom line.

I'll keep globill as a backup though, I doubt they will allow me the features I want is why I will be moving to epoch as primary in the near future...

we have used globill for years, actually we use 4 cascading processors in this order: ccbill, ibill, globill, 2000charge.

my impressions are this:

ccbill is very reliable about payment, ibill is largely incompetent with poor customer service, but they have been paying us and we have a large rebilling base with them; globill pays and is very technically competent---in fact their techs have actually helped us with tech problems that ibill was causing us, they do pay on time---but the MAIN problem for us with globill is that they seem to have excessive scrubbing and they notify (remind by email)recurring members when they are charged each subsequent month, for adult sites if you remind a guy when he doesn't have a hardon that he's about to be recharged and give him a link to cancel this just KILLS rebills---so recurring with them is so poor we have recently changed our globill signup to just offer a 3-month non-recurring sale, of course our chargebacks with globill is basically non-existent.

2000charge we have for eurodebit customers, they have been OK.

I like GloBill remember they are free too. CCbill will cost you $750 Not that that's a big part of you investment in a pay site but I'd rather buy $750 worth of gallery spots than $750 to use visa.

I've always got email responses from globill support in a matter of minutes

Do they still send an email to each member at the end of the month to confirm the recurring billing?

I'm with you on that one. Some services may charge a few points less and they may tell members when their memberships are about to run out (though I believe that's in your control), but GloBill has its shit together regarding chargebacks and it's rare for me even to look for their phone number, because most e-mails get a response in 30 minutes or less, and frequently 15 minutes or less.

I signed up as an affiliate with a globil site um.. a year ago? Something like that. I just found it odd that they were hand signing the checks, even the ones for like $1.58. If they were hand signing every check. Like fuck, How small of an operation are you!

I asked Globill if they still sent emails to customers when they rebilled them and they said that they did not do this anymore.

I guess I could signup as a customer for one of my sites and see what happens, but I doubt very much that they send out cancelation emails, or I would notice a lot of cancels near the rebill time.

On tatgirls I have about 78% of the members rebill on the first rebill.

Now, before you go thinking I am bullshitting, you have to realize that I have NO trials.

No trials means that only people who are willing to pay full price ever sign up.

I'm sure that number would be MUCH higher if I didn't have such a large percentage of TGP sales.

According to Globill's "CountRebillCount":

"average number of times all your members
have rebilled: 5"

---------------

I'd really like to know if anyone knows first hand of globill sending out rebilling emails.
