I don't buy his bullshit.. His talk of freeing the Iraqi people is bull. There is Regimes like Saddams all over the world and they turn a blind eye to them.. It's all about Oil and a bigger US military presences in the mid east..

But even in the corporate world, when a CEO is elected with a small margin, he doesn't have the freedom and support to change the whole company profile... NBow, you have this "elected" president declaring war and saying: " don't get me wrong, we will consult but we will go to war even if you are not with us..." |

and where you BEFORE the last election debating the popular vote vs. electoral college?
Nowhere... it didn't even cross your mind until your guy lost. Now you make yourself feel better by doing silly things like putting the word ELECTED in quotes. |
I think he has his Congress' support as well..
we'll see what happens.. it could get ugly |

I worry about canadian things. Our health care is fucked up, our taxes are way to high (anyone who makes $40 000 US is considered rich by tax man in Canada and highest tax bracket kicks in), our government is wasting billions on hunting rifle registry and some stupid useless job creation programs, our dollar is useless, That french moron Chretien is feeding his friends in Quebec with rich government projets, our military is a joke etc... Those are things I worry about. |

"We do not list the pronunciation of "nuclear" as \'nü-ky&-l&r\ as an "acceptable" alternative. We merely list it as an alternative. It is clearly preceded by the obelus mark \÷\. This mark indicates "a pronunciation variant that occurs in educated speech but that is considered by some to be questionable or unacceptable." A full description of this can be found in the Guide to Pronunciation on our website at http://www.m-w.com/pronguid.htm. We are definitely not advocating that anyone should use the pronunciation \'nü-ky&-l&r\ or that they should abandon the pronunciation \'nü-klE-&r\. " Why Does Bush Go "Nucular" Webster's Response You'll also notice that m-w.com lists things like "eksetera" as a pronunciation of "etcetera". ...just because people say it... not because it is correct. |

9/11 wwas a catastrophy for the american public, the freedom of living, the poor people that actually died there and the relatives that survived... and a blessing for George W. |

I think Chretien has done a fairly good job for the past few years. He's not a drama queen and he can stand ground if he needs to. Second, "feeding his friends in Quebec with rich government projects"? please name some. Because as a Quebecer, i am unaware of this. Also, who else would u rather have as our prime minister? Gordon Campbell? Yes taxes are high... our dollar sucks ass... our health care..meh. I have no complaints but I think our country is doing damn fine. |

Just like with hunting rifle registry you mean? Oh it's only $1 billion and counting. |
This is the speech of:
Lyndon B. Johnson, 1966 "Tonight the cup of peril is full in Vietnam. That conflict is not an isolated episode, but another great event in the policy that we have followed with strong consistency since World War II. The touchstone of that policy is the interest of the United States -- the welfare and the freedom of the people of the United States. But nations sink when they see that interest only through a narrow glass. "In a world that has grown small and dangerous, pursuit of narrow aims could bring decay and even disaster. An America that is mighty beyond description -- yet living in a hostile or despairing world -- would be neither safe nor free to build a civilization to liberate the spirit of man." Looks like the same guy, different version.... |
It's a completely different conflict. Vietnam was a fucked adventure from the start. We were trying to defend South Nam from the North to try and prevent the spread of communism. There was no threat of us being attacked on our ground.
Saddam is an arab terrorist sponsor, and arab terrorists have struck on our turf. He has chemical and biological weapons and is friendly with terrorists that would like nothing better than to exterminate America, all in the name of their religion. Americans have died, anthrax has been spread here, THEY started this. Liberals have it so easy, pander to whatever sounds good. The people that complain that Bush did nothing to stop 9/11 are the same people that complain about the war. You can try to negotiate with and appease these kind of people all you want, all you will do is negotiate yourself into your grave. Quote:
