Here in Brazil no one says website. We all use the word site.

The thing is I see in English no one says site, the most-used word is the full word, website.

Am I right or crazy?

In English the word "site" is ambiguous. Website is more specific.

I believe I use both but since I don't think about it I might say website. I type a lot and normally will take any shortcuts I can which is why I think I say site.
