site vs website
 

Hi guys,

Here in Brazil no one says website. We all use the word site.

The thing is I see in English no one says site, the most-used word is the full word, website.

Am I right or crazy?

in my country we use both.

It's not important enough for you to be worrying about it.

When you're writing for the web, it's best to alternate both so as to avoid repetition and saturation.

I believe I use both but since I don't think about it I might say website. I type a lot and normally will take any shortcuts I can which is why I think I say site.

I typically tend to use both terms.
