We have made some major modifications to Chaturbate. We now have no ads on affiliate landing pages.

Once the user clicks anywhere on the site a free sign up page will appear. The user has the option to sign up or register later. The testing we did on these tours got 2x the amount of signups.

If the user selects register later they are directed to a page with ads. All affiliates are cookied with each referring ip and will get credit for every free sign up.

Chaturbate has also added new tools to the affiliate program. There now is Cam Embedding option to every live room. In addition affiliates have the option to pick from top chat room (usually a girl or couple) and top male room. To accommodate top male room, gay banners have been added to our banner selection. We?ve also added ?Chaturbate Popbehind Window?- when a user clicks a link on your site, Chaturbate will popup in the background. Lastly, an API option for Users Online. Its available in 3 formats XML, JSON, and YAML.

We are still doing our kick off promotion and payouts for Tier 1 are $1.00 until August 1st.

That being said - since the changes I suggested DO seem to have been implemented, I might decide to give this a try again - Since I definitely have some crappy ass traffic that DOES belong in the tiolet, with Will76's post.

Nah, after the promo they are only paying .50/free join, there's tons of other options in cams that will pay a minimum of $1/free join and will have hundreds of live girls. Also, as Punker stated in the original post, the surfer going through an affiliate link that clicks "register later" (which will be the majority) will get directed to a page full of ads. At that point they will probably click an ad, (MFC most likely) and they will mostly likely be gone forever. When cam4 first started it was filled with dozens of second and third world amateur cammers (Latin America and eastern Europe) all vying for the contest money because a grand a month was huge for them, chaturbate needs to attract the same. Its senseless to try and garner all this traffic (affiliate and in house) when there's hardly anyone camming live on the site.
