Do yourself a favor and spend the few extra bucks on a Mac. You will happy you did.

There are no regular Macooks anymore, it's either PRO or Macbook Air.

I used to be a Mac user. I still have a Mac and it sits under a bed and collects dust. I have work to do and a PC helps me get it done.

I just bought an 8GB MacBook Pro i7 .... and changed out the hard drive for the Seagate Momentus XT 500 hybrid SSD/HHD ....

This is the fastest machine I have ever worked on ... BAR NONE!!
I can boot into OSX 10.6.8 in 12 seconds from power on, and into Windows7 (Bootcamp) in 22 seconds!

Worth every cent ... and I AM NOT an Apple Fan Boy ...

I love my Windows7 and Linux machines too ... Each serves different purposes.

I have bought Apple products since 1992 and have never bought an extended warranty and have not needed it either.
