That statement is missing two key words. It should be "nine hundred to a thousand companies have expressed interest in buying a XXX domain name". And most of those are probably mainstream companies that have been brainwashed or intimidated by ICM Registry's propaganda. Interviewer did NOT know what she was talking about and quoted OVER AND OVER that a .xxx name would cost $185,000 EACH

Lawley himself also did not bother to correct her ANY TIME she mentioned $185k per .XXX and instead talked about how it cost them millions to be able to sell .xxx names

Interviewer asks "will companies that want to block their name from being .xxx have to pay $185k and Lawley replies No, they only have to pay $200.00 to block a name, OTHERS paying 185 are buying the name to use (so again Lawley goes along with $185k per .xxx name lol

the ONLY thing I was very surprised about the video was that it was on CNN and not Fox lol

$8 million went to Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) subsidiary McAfee. ICM Registry basically paid McAfee off, so they wouldn't automatically block .XXX with their anti-virus / firewall software.

I think that 900k number is the number of companies that have expressed and interest in all new extensions like .nike or .ford That interview has .xxx mixed in with the .anything deal and it's hard to tell what she is talking about
