Of course the Republicans will not get behind Ron Paul. He's rogue. He's not even hardly a republican by today's yardsticks, is he?

Professional republican politicians are an extreme group. Every time there's some new thing they want to stall Obama on, they claim they were elected to majority in 2010 to stall that issue de jour. We were elected to bring the jobs.. No wait! We were elected to block raising the debt ceiling. No wait! We were elected to reduce government size. No wait! We were elected to end entitlement spending.. for fucks sake, they're just a bunch of cock blocking whiners.

Ron Paul doesn't play those games and therefore the people who do get behind him are not really "real" republicans to begin with, they're just stuck with that label. If he runs as a republican, it'll be a huge mistake. IMHO.

I've got mixed fillings about that video. Production quality rocks. It manages to grab people's attention and get them interested in a subject most people know very little about. It is spot on on many things, but there are a few tiny errors in it. Errors that could be attributed to a lack in understanding of economics on the part of the creators, but it could also be deliberate...

Remember what Kennedy did days before he was assassinated? He took on the Federal Reserve and signed Executive Order 11110 to let the US government oversee the printing of currency, not the reserve.

LBJ retracted it on his first day in office. I don't who runs the world but the Fed does.

His ideas are too "far out there" for any of them.

Ditto Robbie and to add to this, that fear comes from the fact that nearly everyone in DC is a puppet of the Fed, loves the corporate campaign money they get from their lobbyist bribes and wants more laws, laws, laws. Ron Paul stands for everything that is NOT the current Washington standard but IS the way the founders had envisioned us. He's a threat to everyone which is what I like about him best.

If Ron Paul succeeds, there will be far less jobs in DC, far less money for those jobs and less need for government. Less ATF, less DEA, No Federal Reserve and no IRS? I love it!

Oh, and I almost forgot...remember Janet Napalitano's watch list? It included "Ron Paul Supporters".

I voted for him last time and I firmly support him now. The problem is that he is different. The current two parties are really just the same, they both got us into this mess and it would take both of them to get us out of it and that is NEVER EVER going to happen.

I would think about voting for him, if there was a chance in hell that he could win.

If he ran as an Independent, maybe with Bernie Sanders as his running mate, I'd think more about it.

I voted for Perot when HE HAD A CHANCE, but I will not WASTE a vote again.

Nader voters screwed things up pretty badly, in my opinion.

Any of the current Republitards would be 100 x's worse than an Obama re-election, so if an unelectable candidate is thrown in to the mix, I sure as hell hope he syphons off GOP votes this time around.

But if a 3rd party candidate gets as close as Perot did, I will happily vote 3rd party. I really hate the 2 party system. It forces you to vote for the lesser of 2 evils every time.
