Sorry Shakhtar he seems to have gone to ground. I do remember him saying he was very ill and this caused his earlier problem of not paying. Maybe he passed away or to ill to work or just closed it up and its running on auto pilot.

SimonScans 06-22-2012 10:55 AM

  1. I'm not dead.
  2. PM made no attempt to contact me by email or phone. I guess he just wanted to looking connected or just to shit stir.
  3. Shakhtar - can we talk you into being paid by ACH instead of check in future? I checked today and a check has been cancelled and one re-sent but ACH would be instant.

Anyone who needs to contact me can get hold of me at [email protected] or [email protected] Please DO NOT use the messaging system within NATS to message me. I'd switch it off if I could work out how.

FYI It's June, which means mostly what I'm doing is shoots, hence being less around than usual.

Socks 06-22-2012 01:24 PM

Simon are CCBill links to your program still working?

Not my job to come looking for you so you can make sure your affiliates are being paid. As for emails, seems people have been doing that and not getting replies. I asked a few people on B&B, I don't have your contact details.

Maybe you should re-read that and read it again.

MrGusMuller 06-22-2012 05:00 PM

Nice to see that Simon isn't 'dead'.
Welcome 'back' mate. :)

jscott 06-22-2012 06:49 PM

So is it worthwhile to push Simon now as a new affiliate? or too much hassle to deal with getting paid?

affiliates experiences requested pls :)

And good to see you still seem to be replying here Simon

Why did you say you would contact him then?

I *did* contact him, because I know him.

Bless you.

Gotta love the companies that make you come to them for payments, allows them to keep the money of the ones who dont go through the troubles of contacting them or dont notice. Its amazing how many affiliates put up with it and amazing how many companies actually do this

Paying people who sent you the sale is not very hard, the money is in your account because they sent you the sale, give them their half when cheque time comes. Fucking handwrite them if you have to, personally paypal them, paxum, wire, etc - Do something.

I never get tired of seeing the "contact us about your payment" - how about you contact them and go out of your way considering you screwed up and are late. You know exactly who hasn't been paid. Send out a mass email if its everybody.

Its 2012, its not like these programs have thousands of active affiliates.

No they aren't - and haven't been for around 4 years - though you could still be getting rebills from that time. Since then we've moved billers twice, both times we mailed every aff multiple times notifiying of the changes.

I've added you on ICQ BTW.

To be fair to some, no one in particular, and as I suffered a similar problem when Eva was in hospital. For small companies it's sometimes left to one or at best two people to deal with this. And sometimes they have so much to do.

Still it should be a matter of running through the stats and making payments.

Simon, I?m so glad to hear that you are still alive and kicking! :)
Actually I would prefer to receive my pay-outs by checks. All the
previous checks that you sent out were received successfully. As to
the last two checks, they just were not sent out if the NATS?s
information was right. The checks for 2012-03-01 and 2012-05-01 are
?Pending? and marked in the column ?Payment Sent? as ?Not Yet Paid?.
I am sorry that I am trying to settle my payment issues in this topic,
but you are not replying to my emails sent to the addresses you have
given. Maybe they end up in your spam box or something.

SimonScans 06-26-2012 08:04 AM

I've just checked with accounts - the check was sent last week but not marked as paid in NATS.

Shakhtar 06-26-2012 08:49 AM

Thank you very much. I’ll have to wait for it then.

jrMaster 07-04-2012 07:35 AM

Hello Simon!
I would like to receive payment from your program.
My account: debian

jrMaster 08-06-2012 11:46 PM

I have not received a single payment. While I am writing to Simon since May. Neither response nor money!

Been trying to contact you Simon and never hear back from you. Please write me asap either on ICQ or email.

Paul Markham 08-13-2012 03:23 PM

Looks like this guy is in trouble. He had a problem earlier and said he was ill or similar. Then in June he was shooting. Now mid August and still problems.

If this doesn't get him in here screaming at me, nothing will.

Paul, you've already lied about knowing him and contacting him.

Who cares what you think about his status?

I'll give him a call and see what is up. Last I heard he was in Ibiza shooting for the season, as he does every year.

Best not to talk out of your arse about stuff you have absolutely no clue about.

Hang on, what am I saying. That's ALL you do...

Your thinly veiled attempt at trying to start drama doesn't wash with me. You probably already know that he switched from NATS to CCBill within the past week.

Over the past few years Simon has struggled to find a processor that suited him but he has always tried to keep his affiliates informed about what was going on as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully this will be the last change though :)

The NATS is still thre, you can log-in and see your stats, and payments etc. It's really not that difficult to find, or even work out.

Jeppe 09-18-2012 02:43 AM

Here's the email we received about it:

Simonscans is returning to CCBill for primary biller and affiliate management.

After a lot of thought we€™ve taken the difficult decision to cease using NATS and return to CCBill. NATS is a great system and TMM have been faultless with their support, but for a small program and site like Simonscans it consumes far too much of our time and energy.

The change just has happened today. NATS is switched OFF, CCBill is switched ON.

I realise you have some instant questions, so lets get straight to it.

Q. Do I need to change all my links?
A. No, we have teamed up with Sliiing and they€™ve done an amazing job of importing most of the existing affiliates from NATS into their system. If you previously had an affiliate account for Simonscans at CCBill from when we last used CCBill, your links are automatically converted from NATS to CCBill and will track new sales.

If your CCBill details are correctly loaded in Sliiing you will have received an email from their systems with your log in info for their site.

We€™ve done our best to merge the two databases, but please check by following one of your links to the first page of the tour, you should see an url that ends:-

...com/samples/?CA=912363-0000&PA=XXXXXXX

Where XXXXXXX is your CCBIll ID.

If you see €œPA=0€ then you need to either sign up here http://www.simonscans.com/affiliates/ or email us direct if you already have a CCBill ID but the system hasn€™t picked it up and we will manually link it.

Q. Will I get paid the outstanding amounts owed in NATS?
A. Yes.

Q. Will I lose my rebills from NATS members?
A. Yes, we€™ve not been able to find a way around this. As I said at the beginning, this has been a difficult choice, carry on as we are working with an unsuitable system or move to something that suits us both better. Moving forward, we strongly believe that using CCBill as our primary biller is something that will work well for all sides. We get more time to concentrate on shooting and you get the benefit of CCBills perfect record for on time payments.

Q. What is Sliiing?
A. Sliiing is a set of webmaster tools and stats that works seamlessly with CCBill links. With or without Sliiing your CCBill links for Simonscans will still track and your payouts are sent by CCBill exactly as normal for CCbill sales. You can check your stats at both CCBill and at Sliiing. Sliiing extends CCBill but in no way does it interfere with it.

However, as we are moving from one system to another the developers at Sliiing have gone out of there way to support us by coding some scripts to translate NATS encoded links into CCBill encoded links so that your sales will track on those legacy links you already have in place. All the galleries in the new affiliate area are coded with regular CCBill links, no translation code needed. It€™s therefore up to you if you wish to leave galleries exactly as they are, or swap right away to CCBill links.

I€™ll apologise one more time for the disruption these changes will no doubt have caused you, I just hope you€™ll forgive me and that we can move forward together making money as we go :)

Simon
