To me the clubs on the Strip all suck. Way overpriced, and then once you wait in line and finally get in...there's actually nothing happening in them. Just a big crowd of people slammed in like sardines and everyone kinda waiting for something to happen.
But nothing ever does. Just a DJ playing music, bad service, and $10 beers. With that said...I'm going to see Paul McCartney at the MGM Grand tonight. And since I'm a local, I'll probably shoot over to the RIO and drink at any bar or club for half price. There is hot pussy at every club in town (except the gay ones lol). So I can cavort with young hot bitches at the pool bar on top of Binions (and drink cheap with a gorgeous view), or at Gold Diggers at The Golden Nugget (with a great balcony right over Fremont), or on top of the Rio at The Voodoo Lounge (breathtakingly beautiful) Or you can go to clubs like Encore and Pure, etc on the strip and be shoulder to shoulder with nothing happening while you wait 30 minutes on your $15 mixed drink. |

Then we went to this big ass pool hall on Sahara and did some quick power drinking (at real world prices) and then partied at The Green Door until 3:30 in the morning. And The Green Door is definitely a place with some "ambiance" heh-heh |

The first thing I do in a club is look for the exit. Hate being packed in there with music so loud I cant talk to anyone and like everyone already said, too crowded and overpriced. VIP service or not (I've done that many times) I simply do not want to be there. I only go if a business associate is really pushy about it or if its a rare special occasion, and I stay only as long as I have to.

I'm with Robbie on this. I never got the whole waiting in line for hours to enter a club especially in Vegas where there are infinitive options to have a good time. I don't like to schedule my entertainment, thus I rarely make use of "vip" services and any kind of reservations, unless I have guests.
