I literally live within 5 miles of a huge Amazon distribution center and orders still take a week to hit my doorstep.

Amazon has distribution centers all over the country.

Everything I get from Amazon is usually delivered within three days. Pretty much all of my online shopping is Amazon, including digital. Love it.

I love amazon. I buy all my family gifts there. This way I dont have to worry about mailing the gift or wrapping it.

I managed to get into a DVD credits by being the first person to respond to a commentary track's email address because Amazon sent it 3 days before it hit the shelves, and it only took 1 to get to me.

Yeah, it's weird, they hire local couriers to drop stuff.

First time I got something from them I thought it was a homeless dude casing my door.
