actually we don't know nearly enough about the sun to know that for sure...

The problem with a lot of these claims is even our smartest and most elite scientists aren't very sure about a lot of the stuff out there still.

The way I see it is that this planet has been around a long, long, LONG time. Longer than most of us can conceive. People have only been around for a spec of that, but in contrast the dinosaurs were around for 150 million years or so.. so there is no real reason we can't be around for a few mill ourselves.. shit, we are barely across the 200 000 year mark give or take...

russian space agency says it will pass through a area in space that will sling it back into us in 7 years. Nasa says it won't pass through that area of space referred to as a keyhole.
