Agreed. I had not heard about it until a few days ago. The original lawsuit is over a year old. The amended one with DLA Piper representing Ceglia is a month old.

I have not read into this one. But when I read a few articles a while back, it seemed the most legit of all the lawsuits.

Not saying it works legally, but from an "instinct" perspective, it just sounds like it could be something that actually happened.

i read the entire complaint and i think its a slam dunk for ceglia...

I'm thinking Ceglia does not have the money for a long drawn out fight with one of the biggest legal firms in the US representing him. If that is the case and they took it on a contingency basis they have to believe his case has merit.

A lot doesn't add up here and I can't help thinking that this guy Ceglia is withholding something from the story, like maybe acceptance of a repayment of settlement way back.

It is not logical that this guy's interest (if legitimate) wouldn't have come out during the earlier settled law suits.

i read the complete complaint - wow - i know it's just one guy's side of it but what struck me, is that is sounds so plausible. remember Ciegla was dealing with a snot nosed spoiled brat, as soon as facebook launched and the response at Harvard was very good he suddenly wants to pay the guy his money back, completely lying to him, telling him that he might not do anything with the project - meanwhile he's meeting with angel investors who love the project. it sounds exactly what a spoiled brat would do in the situation.

the emails if they're real tell the whole story - Ciegla was definitely a partner in any 'facebook' project.

i never saw the movie Social Network - i hear this guy was included, as a guy who did nothing and got paid off a few mil. It doesn't matter what he did, the deal wasn't based on anything more than Ciegla fronting Zuckerberg money to get the project launched, which he did.

The complaint does pull you in and sure sounds plausible. If it is a fake Ceglia should be writing movie scripts or novels.
