I actually think that people who are ethnically from Russian speaking world (Russia,Ukraine,Belarus,Baltics and so on in south-east direction) and live/interested in English speaking world, watching English language TV without translation and so on, people like that have a much better view on the world, because if you just know one language English or Russian or you are not interested in either language news you don't have a chance to see the world for what it is because Russian news are saying bad things about west and English language news are saying bad things about Russia/China... when you are able to grab information from both sides of the world you are in a much better position to judge events/news. I really enjoy it, hope you do to!
