must be tough not having any friends..I could never understand how anyone could feel sorrow over someone who dies who they don't even know. My father died when I was 14 or so.. never knew that bastard.. When I was told of the news... I went outside and played with my friends.
Didn't bother me one iota.

My friend had severe schizophrenia and shot himself with shotgun, I think that ill people has the right to do that, otherwise it really is selfish. The fact he was drung is also very important, when I've been drinking really heavily I had such crazy ideas after drinking for five days in a row, even there really was no real reason, just deep deppresions from alcohol. Drinking is much more dangerous than anybody thinks. And you also must be in really bad company when so many friends of yours did that...Comment

I had a really close friend do this last summer and it devastated all his close friends and family and we still have to deal with it everyday.

Thank you ALL for the nice thing's you all have said. I went to see a shrink yesterday, didn't want to but walking in on that gave me a good mind fuck but I did feel better after spending a hour talking about it. I'm sure I will have to see him a few time before I'm "back to normal".

My brother called me when he was about 23 or so and told me bye, he was going to kill himself, I was 25... I couldn't help but think how utterly selfish that was that he'd want me to have to live with that so I told him to go right ahead but not to ask me to come and deal with it because I wasn't going to do it - that was so typical of the men in my family to pull stunts like that when they needed attention - I hung up the phone and called the cops and I remember them gasping and wondering why I wasn't jumping and freaking out - all I could think of was how very selfish that was because he knew I had young children that go everywhere I go - and I've barely spoken to him since then -
People who do that aren't your friends - if they need help, they should go and get it, leaving you to have to live each and every day with that vision or situation in your head are the furthest thing from a "friend" you can get!!
