wow are Japanese people reserved

watching some of these videos shot in offices and shops during the earthquake i'm amazed by how quiet the people are - it looks absolutely terrifying, they had no idea at the time if the entire building was going to collapse and kill them and there are hardly any screams or crying - almost nothing.

I suppose a loud scream is only useful if you want to be heard by a person far away from you like 30 meters or something.

I watched supermarket workers running to the stands to try and stop them from falling over on a clip earlier. Very weird.

I guess Mutt has never been through an earthquake.

Yeah, the reports I've watched on TV said that this was a bit scary, more so than most. When you live an an area to gets hit a lot - such as Japan - you get used to it. But they all knew this one was huge.
